Boise Home Builder Chuck Miller Construction Inc. is proud to have been involved in the first St. Jude Dream Home built in Idaho.
Chuck Miller Construction Inc., Capitol Building Company, and the Developers of Hidden Springs, Inc. teamed with the St. Jude Children's Hospital to build the first St. Jude Dream Home in Idaho in Hidden Springs. The "DREAM HOME”, valued at $350,000, was given away on August 10, 2003. The "Dream Home" giveaway raised over $700,000 to support St. Jude in its clinical research of childhood cancer.
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made there have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.
St. Jude researchers are published and cited more often in high impact publications than any other private pediatric oncology research institution in America. St. Jude is a place where many doctors send some of their sickest patients and toughest cases. A place where cutting-edge research and revolutionary discoveries happen every day. They've built America's second-largest health-care charity so the science never stops.
All patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay.
Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life and give to those who are not.

Do You Know the Facts?
It is estimated that one billion people in the world suffer from hunger and malnutrition. That's roughly 100 times as many as those who actually die from these causes each year.
About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. Famine and wars cause about 10% of hunger deaths. Although these tend to be the ones you hear about most often, the majority of hunger deaths are caused by chronic malnutrition.
In 1999, a year marked by good economic news, 31 million Americans were food insecure, meaning they were either hungry or unsure of where their next meal would come from. Of these Americans, 12 million were children. The Hunger Site began on June 1, 1999.
You can help. Boise Home Builder Chuck Miller encourages you to add www.thehungersite.com to your "Favorites" and join him and the 220,000 individuals from around the world who visit the site each day, click the yellow "Click Here to Give - it's FREE" button, and give cups of staple food to the world's hungry.

can solve the climate crisis
The We Campaign is a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection -- a nonprofit, nonpartisan effort founded by Nobel laureate and former Vice President Al Gore. Our ultimate aim is to halt global warming. Specifically we are educating people in the US and around the world that the climate crisis is both urgent and solvable.
WE is a growing number of people who believe we can solve this. Not just as individuals with strong beliefs but as part of a group where our strength makes governments and corporations change. WE can put our planet on a new path. Clean energy solutions are out there waiting. Solutions that will not only save our planet but help rebuild our economy. WE can lead.
