Smart Start Preschool
Located next to the Hidden Springs Mercantile, Smart Start Preschool is open Monday through Friday with programs for ages 3-5. Smart Start is a "pure preschool" focusing on guided play, self-esteem and Kindergarten readiness. It is a safe learning environment which promotes developmentally appropriate educational skills for young children, while strengthening the family through the parent education program. Hidden Springs is in the Boise Independent School District. Our schools include the Hidden Springs Charter School, Pierce Park Elementary, Riverglen Junior High, and Boise High.

Hidden Springs Charter School
Hidden Springs Charter School is a public charter school governed by its own board and founded by community members. Hidden Springs Charter School received its charter from the Boise School District. It currently serves students of Kindergarten through Grade 8.
Hidden Springs Charter School offers a back-to-basics curriculum. The traditional core curriculum areas-language arts, math, science, and social studies-are strongly emphasized and are augmented by foreign language and arts programs, a piano lab, integration of community service into the learning process, and use of various innovative teaching methods including a direct teaching approach.
